The approach to loss has become overly medicalized, focusing on quick fixes rather than acknowledging the healing time required, the importance of maintaining connections, and the potential for personal growth.
Grieving is not about going back to how you were before, but embracing the transformation that comes with loss. It is about slowing down, tending to deep pain and engaging in self-reflection to help identify what matters, rediscover who you are, and restore energy and self compassion.
